I find my inspiration in the real world.
Landscapes, objects, reflections.
Concrete objects, or fleeting moments.
Hard surfaces or moving cloud forms.
I work with, and depict moments that exist in time and my mind.
Whether I am looking at the abstract reflections in broken window glass, the landscapes along the Hudson River, abstracted shapes found in pavement and roadways, and images as seen when projected on common objects.
A torn page from a 19th Century ledger, bits and pieces of color paint chips, old drawer fragments, birds eggs, and other forgotten ephemera.
I find my inspiration in the real world.
